Need birthday present ideas!

Okay well it has to be under $30 since I’m kinda broke at the moment. It’s for a girl (not GF tho I wish).

I don’t want to get her anything expensive like jewelry or an iPod. Not because I’m greedy, but because I personally think by doing that all you’re doing is buying love (not that we have any or developing or anything but you know what I mean).

I thought maybe cake but I figured her parents will buy her that. No flowers. Like I said, there’s no romantic feelings between us.

I thought maybe a book but it never occurred to me what kind of genre she likes. Pretty sure she read Twilight already since every chick in our area did.

get her something funny or useful that connects back to an inside joke you guys have or something.. something like that so she knows you put some thought into it instead of getting her some random thing. something you think she’d appreciate.
