Living Silently
Day and day, I’m just there
Night and night, I lie in here
I talk so low that no one hears
Inside of me speaks pain and disdain
My voice is too silent to echo my thoughts
I stutter my words so no one understands
If I shout too loud I shall wake the birds
If I speak clearly enough, the owl shall sleep
To harm him not, I have to befriend silence
My actions, my cowardice, no one can comprehend
Including me, I know not what I do
But yet and yet, I do them still
