Everybody needs validation. We all need to find someone who can do that for us. May you all smile, smile, smile. Happy Christmas.

I just want to say i love this site and everyone one of its members. You all are all so special even if you went through hell and back. You are still surviving and trying to live a better life. And despite all your pain and hurt you still find the time to help others in need even if its just to say (((hugs))). Just reading that can make a person feel a love they probably never felt. I dont know what i would do without this site, seriously. Its like the drug to my addiction, i cant get enough. Thanks again Florie you dont know how much watching this video meant to me. Now whenever i need to be validated i will find this post and watch it over and over until i have no negative thoughts running through my mind

I went walking this morning and i complimented everyone i passed. I didnt actually tell them but it put a smile on my face to see something good in everyone. They look so mean til they look at you, say good morning, and SMILE :). Is that close enough? lol

In an idealistic world, this concept would work however, our world is not quite there which is more of a reason to find the positive in everyone. Obviously, we can’t change the world but we can change our perception of it if we try.

Ohhh I’m just having ups and downs. My b/f had to move very far away almost a month ago…and he’s not only my b/f..but he is also my best friend, so I’ve just been having those lonely spells. Then a week ago, I had to go to the doctor several times because I found a cyst, and had to make sure it wasn’t cancer or anything. Poo! It’s just been kinda stressful and all that. But I really don’t have anything to complain about. I’m very grateful it was just a cyst, and I will be moving in with my b/f once he gets a job. So all in all..I’m okay now! : ) Thank you very much for asking : )

Well, I do understand what you’re going through….it’s hard when you love someone so much and suddenly can’t be with them. Just be grateful that you’ll be with him again. In the meantime, why not try to find new friends that can fill the void?

I’ve been trying, but I work 8-5 all week…and I’m pretty knocked out by the weekend. My drive to work is an hour and fifteen minutes just one way. Driving that much really drains you! So by the weekend, I’m pretty tired and just want to relax. & I am trying to spend lots of extra time during the weekend with my mum before I do move. We’re pretty close!
& also, I have been hanging out with a couple friends here and there..but it’s just not that much fun. We’ve kinda grown apart…which messes things up. They’ve done a few things to me, like forget my birthday and they were cold towards my b/f..and that hurt me terribly to see that!…so we’ve drifted a bit, because I wanted to “drift” from them. That’s one thing I’m looking forward to. New friends when I move!
Anyway, I know this may sound silly to some people, but I come on here because I seem to find *good* people here that are easy to talk to. And they share their problems and I share mine…and everyone is here because they WANT to be here. The way I see it, that kind of friendship is the only kind I would want to have. Maybe I’ll find it in someone around here where I live right now…no luck so far though.

Kitt e: You drive an hour and 15 minutes just to get to work; that must be one hellacious job!!! I do understand how friends sometimes drift apart…it’s all part of life unfortunately. Still, you should have some friends….they’re the next best thing to a romantic partner and ya don’t have to sleep with them….lol. When the time comes to reunite with your b/f, you’ll still want other friends in your life. I know your schedul is hectic but you could even call a friend just to chat for a few minutes.

You are right, hotdog. I know…bad timing for getting that job too. It’s in the city I was about to move to ..where he was living…until he got laid off. :( He tried finding a job, but couldn’t wait much longer because, of course, money was getting lesser and lesser. So he had to move to his parents’ house until he finds a job in that area. Once that happens, I’ll be moving down there with him! He wanted to do this the right way, and have his job before I move down there too, so at least one of us will be okay as far as a job is concerned, and we won’t be completely poor and nearly homeless.

And again, you are right about the friend thing! Last night, I got in touch with a couple friends. We did get to talk about things and it was cool :) So I have some people to hang out with when I want to :)
