when I click on internet explorer on my friends computer

a box pops up that say Warning at the bottom of the popup is a small box and the words do not display this message again, but wether I check the box or not’ when clicking on internet explorer the warning message returns. it is a large grey box with nothing in it other than a blue bar with the words warning and on the bottom do not display this message again. I ran AVG- nothing, I ran spybot S&D- nothing I ran Reg Fix- Nothing, I edited msconfig, -Nothing cannot get rid of this message! does anyone out there know how to help?

it sounds like a virus or spyware. some viruses nowadays actually install their own antivirus on your system to get rid of other viruses and keep thiers, so when you run a scan with a legit program nothing gets found. what i would do if i were you is download the free trial of a program called kaspersky internet security 2009 and once downloaded boot into safe mode and run a scan and see if anything comes up. good luck
