the narrator stating something like “The greatest ship goes down never to be seen again” is insulting to the current ships afloat, esp the nuclear carriers whose stats beat the Titanic in every way–hey, how do you expect your other information to be treated with respect if your commentary is false?

well its just used as a figure of speech, its like if something claims to be the greatest story ever told or the best pies in the world, noones actually expecting them to be the greatest ever, its just to make things sound more dramatic.
