Robots! Okay, maybe I’m not typical in that respect. From my wife I like to get “gift certificates”, which are little coupons for things like a foot massage, shoveling the driveway (normally my chore), or some other little favor that I might not be able to persuade her to do otherwise.

well, I’d like to receive a gift card from my favourite store with certain amount (not too much) of money on it. It’s something I could actually use like a credit card. it’s perfect cause I can pick somenthing for myself and theres no way I’d be dissaponited with a present.

Give him/her a digital picture frame with all kinds of different cards of pictures and then you are able to give him new cards every now and then. Those are great, I think.
