we’re fairly good friends, i like her quite a bit, and i know she likes me back. we know each other because of band at school
Repeat after me “What’s your email address?”
“hey can i have your email?”
and there you have it
just asking for the email is good enough
and it’s not that awkward sounding

Chill…I didn’t think that would offend you. Sorry about that.
What, it’s true!
Take it from a girl. If a guy wants my email they should just say so.
Confidence is key.
I’m being honest. No jerkiness intended

Nope…Most people wouldn’t think a thing of it especially if you are good friends.
ok thanks
i just needed another perspective :]
Yeah, no reason needed. I can’t imagine anyone turning around and saying ‘why?’ and if she does, just be honest. You wanna chat.

Anytime. :)
I think asking for her email straightforward is okay considering that you are friends.
But if you’re awkward about it, I have ideas.
1.) Find a very funny email. Tell her about it. Casually slip it in the conversation. Then say it’s really funny but it’s better when she reads it for herself. Then go “I should forward it to you. Wait. I don’t think I have your email address. What your add?”
Alternatives to the plan: Find a very public warning email. It has to be something that is serious and factual. E.g. FDA (USA) advisory: all drugs containing Phenyl… are being recalled. Please stop taking them. It’s been linked to stroke, seizures… check out www.fda.gov/cder/drug/infopage/ppa
Tell her that it’s important that she knows what medicines to avoid. and tell her that she should inform her loved ones too.
2.) Find out if she has something that she could send to you through email. Then tell her “send it though email.” Then give her your address.
This could be pictures, school related files etc.
I still think that being honest is the best plan here though.
If you’re in one of her classes (preferably English or Journalism or something where you write a lot of papers), get to know her a bit, then ask if she can help you proof read your papers over email. That’ll work.

Sure. I’m glad to help. Good choice on being honest. So did you get her email already?
be like “oh yeah i kno this band and stuff that youd really like and watnot so yeah i kinda need your email to give it to you”
im sure if you just asked in a FRIENDLY manner shed be like oh thats kl. Im a girl and i dont find it weird.
but is it awkward to ask for one if you’re 11?
adil khan
Hehe funny:( i said those exact words and she speciffically said,” Oh! My mom used my email to sign up for something and now i get like a hundred messages per day.” this ruined my day stating that it was the day before break ad i have a huge crush on her!
Ahhh this girl is KILLING me! She likes me then she only talks to someone else then she hates him and talks to me as a friend! Where am i going in my life ! IM ONLY 12!! I barely sleep! She sometimes stares at me but when i look at her she looks away nervously!
