Health insurance- unknown out of network charges
My in network doctor made a procedure and never told me that an anestesiologist would be necessary. Now I am receiving a bill for 3500 dollars from my health insurance. They say that this anestesiologist was out of network. What can I do about this? I do not consider fair the situation and my insurance just sent a letter saying that the doctor is willing to negotiate. I would appreciate some professional advice on this matter. G.
