The same thing happened to me. The last 1% does take aaaaages. I dont know why, I guess the progress bar thingy is a little out of whack, but try it again maybe next time you have to go out for a couple hours. By the time you get home it should be finished.

Also, make sure your windows updates are current, otherwise it may never finish.
