BAH HUMBUG!

just got a new ipod touch 16g for christmas,but whats an ipod touch without the internet?
basically i dont know the password for the internet,i can’t go in 192.168.1.1 to my “device webpage”because idont know the username an password to et in there either!
i, cant re-set the router either because i already have several computers running on the same wireless device(netgear)an would only cause more problems.
is there anyway of obtaining the password through another way?
i’d also like to mention that my dad has a iphone an is conected to the internet, but i typed it in ages ago and we’ve forgot it now,is there anyway of finding the passwordon his iphone,
help please..

maybe a user name and password on bottom of the modem (like mine)

For me, my default user name was “admin” without the quotes, and the password was the router’s name.

And when I say router’s name, I don’t mean any specific model name, just “visionnet” or “motorola”.

Oh. Sorry. That must mean you have a specific user name and password. If you didn’t change it, it’s possible the password is just your account phone number, but I don’t have a clue about the user name.

the thing your computer is getting internet from may be plugged in to a phone jack depending on what type on internt you have since it is wireless it will have an antenna on it
