Have you ever had a slider phone? - Help.com

I have the LG chocolate slide phone - it’s ok…but I won’t go back to a slider again. I text and email a lot from my phone…I need a qwerty keyboard next time.

i have a slider and it works grate for me i have had no problems with it i’ve had it for about a year

I’m not cool enough for one of those kind of phones :(

i have a LG Rumor
i love it, it’s got a qwerty keyboard
it’s pretty sturdy, i’ve dropped it before, and it still works great
i got it wet couple times too
when i bought it (March) i read a couple complaints about the screen cracking when its dropped. i dont know if they fixed it or whatever but mine works great.

Don’t worry, they aren’t cool phones, they break!
I wouldn’t have another, I’d stick with a candybar phone next time :)

Me? Um i have a nokia one, the kath kidston one from a couple of years ago, the screen is dodgy but don’t want to get another one, mine is decorated with flowers. I can’t remember the code name for it though, sorry :)

Yeah, it’s cute, the only reason I have it really. But though I’m not really into all this mp3 and camera jazz, if it texts and calls it’s good enough for me :)

Where did he keep his phone, was it in his pocket and also find out what the name of the battery it was, as these are very important to know and what year he got it in as he may have been subjected to a new free phone.

I had the LG Rumor and now I have the HTC Touch Pro… Both slider phones and both awesome. I’ve never had a problem with them.

LG phones are good phones..I have the LG Chocolate and it hasnt broken anytime..even if I drop it..The LG Shines are also good..

Sorry I mean’t is hasnt broken yet…

I have a slider phone, got it a few weeks ago because I washed my flip phone :S
It is a samsung SGH-J700, in PINK :P but it does come in black too, for all the functions it has and everything with it I would say it is very much worth it’s price but the price does depend on what network you want it on, Mine is on Virgin so it was only about £50 and now the sales are up and going you may get it for cheaper, who knows.
I tend to break thinks just by looking at them so I find this slider phone is very sturdy, which is good as it needs to be around me lol

P.S, I find that if you are still not sure of a phone after a day of using it then you ain’t gonna get used to it so I would deffinetly take it back if I were you. Find something you do like.

My friend had an lg chocolate, broke within a week.

sorry.. i just have a regular ol’ flip phone… i personally dont like anything other than those… maybe its cuz im old and out of fashion.. hahahahahha

I think it is just about what your into at the time, nothing to do with being old, I don’t think your passed it shie!
I used to like the flip phones and I had one for about 2 years before I washed it :S so this time I went for a slider, didn’t think I would get on with it but I did and I am really not able to learn gadgets and things lol

My nan has a mobile and doen’t know how to use it hat well, she called me from it once to my house phone and asked me where I was lol, I had to explain that she called me on her mobile but to my land line so that meant I was at home and she was the one that could be somewhere else :P

Woo, new phone, Love putting everything on it and testing etc..
One thing i find when I get a new phone is no one calls me on it lol

Yeah I thought that too, I thought I would be pressing all the wrong keys but it is just as easy as the other types.
I think mine is better though because it is PINK!! :P

I work off of the latest Blitz Verizon slider. Dark blue :) Yeah, mine got damaged once in the rain. Would have cost me 300US if I didn’t pay for the insurance.

i had a slider phone for near enough a year. has worked brill for me. i love it. although i have a touch screen now, and it is SO much better for me.
