boyfriend help: Okay well.. - Help.com

Well this was a problem for me when i first started seeing my ex.

I found that at first, i thought my parents were the judgemental ones but i was mistaken when i met hers.

Also, I didn’t want to tell my parents in person so i used technology of today to tell them and sent a text to them both letting them know and they were fine with it.
How old are you btw? I found my parents have become more trustworthy as i’ve gotten older

i want to tel my mum face to face is easier for me

Well i wanted that as well, so i texted my dad then went and made him a cup of tea, whilst he read it, then we talked and it worked :)
He then volunteered ‘dads taxi’ as this girl lived 20minutes away in the car but i still saw her at the weekends at clubs etc..

I’m sure she’ll understand. She was probably dating lads when she was much younger than you.

Either that or get into a conversation with her then tell her whilst your all in a chatty mood

if they are strict they will do everything to make you hate him
or to push him away.. hide it at least for now..
when u feel that ur relation is very serious then u could talk

I’ll tell you now that it isnt strange for you to be scared to tell your mum and dad that you are dating. Nearly all my friends are to scared to tell their parents about it aswell. I don’t know if you have told them by now since you posted this but strict or not, parents like to know who the boy is and what he is like, so they will most likely ask you alot of questions about him. Don’t be scared, they are your parents, it isnt like they are about to hurt you (and if they are you need to get some help). It isnt like when they were younger they dated people, so they know what its like.
