Is Global Warming real?

What’s your opinion? Why do you think so? Where’s your proof?
And no mindless yes’s or no’s, please. Don’t answer unless you know what you’re saying.

I dont believe Global Warming is real. I think it is the natural state of the planet to change its climate over time. It has more to do with the tilting on the axis as opposed to the greenhouse gases

That being said, I still think reduction of emissions is a good idea. It would make for cleaner air at least.

Thanks. That is the theory I am leaning more towards. I used to accept Global Warming as presented. Now, I would say the planet’s climate is changing. Maybe due partly to greenhouse gases. Cleaner air would be nice, but I doubt it would greatly affect climate change. This may all simply be part of the natural cycle.

It’s not the fact that the global temperature is rising that is the issue. The problem is the speed that it’s rising. Melting ice desalinizes the ocean water, killing plant and animal life. Rising sea levels is an issue, but no more than the relatively sudden climate changes.

Global warming and cooling are natural cyclical processes. The current speed of global warming is not natural, and it is dangerous. The world isn’t getting the time it needs to adapt.

I think that global climate change is real, but I wouldn’t go as far to say that it is only characterized by a global warming trend. Evidence? Recorded extremes and differences in the climate, etc. The fact that there are billions of people interacting with the earth. That has to change things. Often times for the worse.

Global warming… no… Global Climate Change… Yes! Currently the approved vernacular is global climate change, because not all regions will experience increased temperatures. All Universities that I know of support Global Climate Change, Colleges like the University of Washington offer whole classes about climate change and have developed a department of the Environment to study the phenomenon.
