Windows Vista won’t let me install files of any kind.

For example when i try to install firefox, it only opens the run or save window.
When i press run after downloading, nothing happens it doesn’t open the exe.
I think it might also be a problem with my firewall.
Comodo firewall/ defense+

Anyone got any ideas how to solve this?

That’s weird. Go to commodo, go to firewall, advanced, Firewall behavior settings, and either training mode or disabled.

I’m clicking run and it says:
IE is not responding.
And it refreshes the IE page cause it was stuck or something?

Oooh, that’s a big deal, you need to update. Either go here: http://update.microsoft.com/microsoft… or through the control panel.

Probably not, but you do need to update. Other than that… ask an IT guy. I’m not great at this kinda thing.

after u save it,,open it as admin,, and then if this doesnt work,,
u should try to manage ur security levels,,
and then if that doesnt work,,
then u should insert the visita cd,, and dnt uninstall it,, but u should do fix,, in that case,, u will fix without losing data,,
and if non-of the above work,, then try to reinstall ur fkl

if ur on vista, you have to shut down the firewall in windows. then download, install comodo firewall/antivirus then restart windows firewall. good luck, microshaft does not like freeware in its vista or 7. lots of love, tari101
