No weapons - I agree.
Do you thing the West specifically US/UK will stop selling weapons when they are in financial crisis? I think they will sell more to recover the over extension of resouce they are guilty of at present.

Help me with: Is there such a thing as an unselfish act?

it would be unadvisable to disarm any country in the world due to the obvious rehappening of the Versailles treaty in pre-WW1 times. what we truly need in something completely more effective than the UN that actually has a substantial military force that would only need to be used a few times to strike fear into anyone who wishes to start a war.

Why not have the good, the moral and the decent people of the world hold one of the largest protests the world has ever seen, and threaten to overthrow their respective governments if we cannot come to a peaceful agreement to all disputes. In doing so, we must change a LOT of things. #1 We must do away with money. The Greed For money fuels wars. #2 The Idea that some live well while some live in hobbles is something that needs to change for every one. Living the “survival of the fittest” way only works for a few. #3 Tec knowledge should be shared not horded. If we can benefit from it why not share the wealth.
When trying to make a better country our forefathers left a clause in the constitution. I’m not 100% clear on the exact words but the gist of it is, if we do not like our government we have the right to remove and replace them by any means necessary. The real problem is not how to save the world, the real problem is what do we do about the extremists who will try to stop us?
