Has anyone in the uk ever done a study skills course at uni?? I am starting one in just over a week and im wondering what i can expect

Notes! Notes! Notes! Always take notes and review them at the end of the class and then again review them at the end of the day! Then compile your notes for the whole week and review them again! Then make your own concise summary of your notes that you will use to study for exams. That is what you do everywhere not just the UK. Good luck to you! You are going to be just fine! It shows by you asking what you can do to study better! You are ready to take on any challenge that uni presents to you! Actually, you don’t need luck because you already know what you want and know what you want to do! Instead, I send you my blessings!
