I told a friend of mine that i am in love with him.

the thing is he had to leave the night morning to fly back home. i am actually living in germany and he in canada. as an answer on my confess he gave me a kiss on the cheek and told me that it sucks that he has to leave tomorrow. i just wanted to be honest with him, but on the other does not want to destroy our friendship, because i will also like him if he says sorry for me its just a friend thing. i dont now what to do now. we wrote some times since he left via internet and he said i shall keep in touch but i just dunno what to think. what do you reckon? i would appreciate your answers, im really confused. i wanna know what he thinks but dont want to bring up the topic again and again. you can ask me questions aswell if you need to know any further before answering to me post. thanks in advance!

personally, i think that long distance relationships are not the best, so unless you really love this person, i think that you should move on.

I’m pretty sure you can find someone that cares as much for you as you do for them, in the area in which you live.
Also, based on his reaction, he might not feel the same way.
