Where were you?

There’s probably an underlying problem for why he’s acting out.
That’s all I’ve got….sorry =/
How can you rob a fifth of jack??
of anything!??
He stuck the fifth under a coat he was wearing and told the clerk he didnt have anything-
My husband and I dont even drink -My son said he just wanted to try it
No, see, a fifth is called a fifth because it’s the height of one finger’s width.
When you hold the glass, you level the bottom of your pinky finger with the bottom of the glass and then you pour until it’s level with the top.
It’s not possible to rob that much.
Maybe your son really did just want to try it. Kids are curious.
I think you might be over thinking this. Unfortunately the whole Dr. Phil generation thing is going on. Just because your child misbehaves doesn’t mean you have failed.
I think you should just talk to your son about this. But trust me. You haven’t failed. Cheer up. Relax. Things will be fine. Just talk.
He has to go to court over these things he has done–this has all been within the last 3to4 months I am worried that the courts will intervene and put my son in a boys home. I am not sure what will happen and I dont feel I am in control over this
He is my only son and he is breaking my heart…
Has there been any major changes in his life, it sounds like he is acting out because of an event.
Maybe you should talk to him or arrange for him to talk to someone he feels comfortable with talking to and see if there has been an incident or just why he is suddenly acting so different. It could just be that he is getting older and going through a phase
I hope that it is just a phase-
He was kicked out of the regular high school because he refused to do any detentions now he goes to a behavioral school and it has gotton worse since…he never got into this much trouble before he started to attend this behavioral school…they dubbed him trouble -now he is !!!
As unfortunate and extreme as this may sound, is moving an option?
It’s a lot like prison. You go in knowing how to steel a volvo and come out knowing how to rob a bank. It’s very likely the influence of the other children at his new school.
The kids he attends school with are moderate to severe cases anything from gang violence to assults they cant even take a pencil to school they are provided there. I dont know where to place the blame …so I blame myself for not knowing what to do !
I pray alot …I feel I am loosing my son …I wish we could move …
Don’t blame yourself! It is not your fault.
Is there anyone you can talk to about getting him out of that school?
I am want to get him out of that school -the only alternitive they gave us was to go to a GED program- OH, I could just yank him out but I would have to pay tuition for another school..His principal at his former school had daggers for him and was new and i feel just didnt want any problems in her quaint small town and school so ship him somewhere where they can deal with it !
I am going to call someone at the school board in reguards to this matter -I am just not sure what good it will do .. but I am going to try -I know I am fighting the good fight -I just know he has so much potential
It’s a tough situation. I’m sorry, I really don’t think I can help. Do as you have said and make some phone calls and just do what you can. I’m very sorry that this has happened to you.
Thank you for listening -
