ok, so there’s this greek god I don’t know the name of.

He got in a fight with Hercules, I think. He was strong, but his weakness was that when you take him off the ground, he could be crushed. Does anyone know the name of this guy, or a reference to this myth that I’m probably butchering??

I just read the story again of the fight between the two. They were both considered powerful and strong. Hercules claimed to be the son of Jove. Achelous said this was either false or true only by his monther’s shame! So the two got into an almighty fight.
The river God changed itself into a serpent, but Hercules grabbed him by the neck. Old Achelous then changed into a bull whereby Hercules wrenched one of his horns from his nead.

No mention is made of his weakness when you take him off the ground.

Yep. You’ve got it. Ol’ Hercules strangled him while holding off the ground. Good for Herc. Antaeus was a mean bastard. He killed all his conquests.
