laptop help: I cant open eurobattlenet website or server in game when i connect - Help.com

I cant open eurobattlenet website or server in game when i connect to my friends wireless connection with my laptop…

I can do this all at my home over the same router that my friend has …what could be the problem i tried everything (shutting down the firewall,setting static ip….) Pleeeeeeeease help… thank you!!!
