Mutation?

Is it just me or has anyone else had the feeling that human and animal life are merely a horrible mutation of the earth, just like we grow warts on our skin. I mean think about it, while plants create oxygen then break down into mulch to continue the chain of life, us animals create methane and when we break down we can create some very toxic chemicals, which makes me wonder, if we are the tumor, the cancer preventing the world from natural repair of its life giving organs
If this is the case then our lives and the meanings we search for in them have been completely deluded as a mutation.
Yes, i think of this stuff on a daily basis, I already know I have a different way of thinking so I dont need to be picked on for it, its actually not fun dealing with these kind of thoughts on a daily basis

Well, technically speaking, all current eukaryotes on Earth are mutations. Plants are much more clean, but animals are just as good as surviving, apparently. We are not perfect, but it takes imperfection to see true beauty. Everything, the chemicals, the tumors, the skin, the organs; in the end they simply keep the body aware and functioning; worth appreciating.

Don’t be afraid to think of strange concepts that most people don’t agree with. Scholasticism doesn’t get us anywhere. It takes revolutionary ideas to move on.

God created the earth so people and animals could live on it. I wouldn’t consider us “tumors” in our world. Without us, nothing would happen on the earth. God put us here to love through us.
