My ex-boyfriend and i stayed together for like 6 months…

we’ve done together everything u might think of…but then we started to fight alot and many problems began to happen…we broke up more than one time…and everytime we breakup he tells me that he has a crush on another girl..but i get him back eventually…but the last time we broke up he asked a girl to go out with him..and now they’re in a relationship!! im still soo not over him..i’ve tried every single way to forget him..and i tried to date other guys…i do fall for them..i swear i get over him…but then i just go back to loving him…i cant forget anything we’ve done together…what should i do?!?! should i try to get him back and how? or what? help me…

I think that the worst part is that of you keep getting back together you’re probably holding on to that. There’s always a possibility you’ll get back together, and chances are if you have gotten back together with him so often he almost always treated like his girlfriend still. It’s a horrible situation and you probably felt led on a bit, but it’s over. It may feel like you won’t get over him now, but eventually you will, it just takes time. And you should probably stay away from him for the time being, it really helps you to not think about him. Don’t even talk to him for a little while. And you can’t fall for anyone else until you’re over your ex. It’ll get better, and you’ll be fine. Just take time for yourself right now. Find something you love to do and spend all your time on that. It makes time pass more quickly and helps you to realize just how much you don’t need him.
