What should I do with my life?

I know this is probably a common question but lately I’ve been feeling like such a failure. I’m a junior in high school taking three AP courses, college math class, and an honors class. I get less than mediocre grades when I am expected to make at least honor roll. I don’t have those skills like some students who can party or mess around all day and still get straight A’s but I have to put so much effort in my work that it discourages me from trying at all. Earning scholarships seem to be a distant possibility right now and I’m so near to the end.

Find what you enjoy. If all else fails, you need something you love in life; and not just the whole general thing.

I definitely understand what you may be going through because I just went through the same in the past 2 years but in Uniersity. The approach may not be the same, but the idea doesn’t change. The best way out starts by recognizing who you really are. Start by going back in time before you felt so low. What did you do well then? Is it because you liked it or not? Ddi you have friends then? Do you have some now? If not, why?

Rember, don’t measure yourself to others because when you came in the world they weren’t there. Look deep inside yourself.

You are too young to be worried about LIFE right now you are only a junior in high school. Seek help from counselors and teachers. Keep it up with the hard work because you will definately feel good when you receive that deploma and those scholarships-I know I did.

Talking to teachers and explaining what you are going through can be a good first step, but never NEVER stop trying. It doesn’t matter if someone else gets better grades even if they screw around. In the end you have something they don’t: work ethic. Things will get easier trust me. Just keep trying and keep the lines of communication open between you and the people close to you.

Explore. Try new things and study new subjects. You will probably discover something that you enjoy, and when you do you will be better prepared for it than if you had just sat around.
