Sorry if you were looking for something sweeter lol Im kinda bitter lol
That’s all down to you.
Obviously, avoid songs that remind you of the person you’re trying to get over.
If there are other songs that remind you of good memories that don’t include the person you’re trying to get over, then they’ll obviously be good.
Try and avoid depressing songs and stick to up-beat ones, though again what constitutes ‘depressing’ and what constitutes ‘up-beat’ will depend entirely on you.
If you’re into a bit of “hardcore”…

Little creepy, but I like it
Breakeven by the script erm one by lauryn hill not sure of the name think its ex factor, broken strings by james morrison when i split up with my last ex disturbia by rihanna was played at full volume alot lol
I still think that “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor is the best getting-over-someone song of all time, despite its age. It starts out with the uncertainty and fear that goes with a broken relationship, but then swings into new energy and stays there.

In my opinion, every song sucks to get over someone….if you are trying to get over someone, almost all music reminds you of them in some way. And if there is a specific song that you are listening to for the express purpose of getting over someone….well, I would say that that specific song then has meaning (reminders of ‘getting over’ the person) tied to it….
Why would you want songs to get over someone? Wouldn’t you know that when you hear those songs you would be thinking about the person you’re trying to forget? I would just forget the person I am trying to forget without listening any song or music. Otherwise in the future when you hear those songs or music you will say “that’s the song or music the helped me forget so and so” and you will be thinking about them all over again! You would defeat your own purpose!

Tell me if you want more, I could come up with more, different genres, too, probably.

Not sure if this would be your type, but “Goodbye” by Kristinia DeBarge helped me immensely. A lot more than I thought it would.
