Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
Florence and Rome, by far for history and art. Usually the big cities in Europe are always good, and they speak english for the most part.
I recommend you not going in summer during tourist season.
Search Google for travel sites, I’m sure you’ll find something to spike your interests.
thats the thing i dont really know what i want to go for. law springs to mind but i dont want to start a 6 year course and not finish it.also buisness but thats pretty generall and i dont wanna end up in working for some insurance company
do you speak another language? do you want to learn another language?
im terrible at languages absolutely terrible
Where do you live just now?
Because without knowing that, we can’t know where ‘abroad’ is for you.
us, scotland, england, australia, canada, new zealand, south africa, to name a few.
Well, Kuvri has very helpfully listed a bunch places where English is the primary language.
The next question is what would make somewhere a ‘good place’?
for some reason canada has always appealed to me even though ive never been.well i would need a part time job i would have to make a whole new bunch of friends and have a good social life all of the above would be perfect also i gotta decide what i want to go for like what course i wanna do i just cant seem to choose one
Everyone I know who has spent time in Canada has said it’s a wonderful country but that doesn’t mean it’s right for you.
You’re right, deciding what course you want to do will make a huge difference as well.
Plus you have to consider the fact that studying abroad is likely to be VERY expensive. And now isn’t exactly the best time to be having to spend large amounts of money.
thats true but i will have to pay rent and bills ect anywhere i decide to study even if its in ireland.does it cost alot to go to college in canada?
I don’t know about Canada in particular but the US for example, you have to pay the full tuition amount - which tends to be something like $50,000/year, unless I’m very much mistaken.
Even though it’s expensive to study anywhere, if Ireland is anything like the UK, then it’s gonna be cheaper than the US.
So, it could also be much cheaper than Canada.
50,000?????? thats just not possible ill look up canada and see whats the story with it but if its anything like that then theres not a hope.england would probable be my best bet due to costs but who knows i may find a way in in canada or somewhere a bit more adventurous
If you live in the UK and you choose to study in the UK, even with top-up fees, you never end up paying the full amount for the course.
People who come from abroad to study here do and can pay up to something like £15,000/year + accommodation depending on which course they do and where.

If it works there how it does in the US, it’ll be cheaper if you enroll in a college in Ireland that has an exchange program with a school in the country you want. That way, any financial aid or scholarships you get in ireland will be transfered to the foreign institution- of course then you can only go for a year.
Canada the best place
