Okay well it might be a little late in the day for anyone to help me…
but here it is:
I’m in 9th grade and for 3 1/2 weeks, Dec. 11 - Jan. 3, I was in China with my family visiting our cousins who moved there a couple years ago. It was soooooooo much fun =] but I had missed a total of 9 school days and, of course, would have to make up the work after I got back. The following Monday the 5th I was back in school and besides for my friends and a teacher or two, it seems like no one even noticed I was gone. Thanks guys, thanks.. Really feelin the love here.
My teachers each gave me something to do to make up for all of the work I had missed and it ranged from a simple packet of fill-in-the-blanks to a full on powerpoint of my trip. And they made sure I was plenty busy. It got very difficult trying to keep up because the time difference is 13hrs so I would crash when I got home from school and would wake up around 2 or 3 in the morning, but now after a week of school I’m back to okay (sort of.. I still wake up at 5am).
Despite the funky sleeping hours of that week I was managing to get simple homework passed in but it wasn’t so easy with projects piled on me. For instance, a French project I had missed was creating a brochure of some place and I was planning to make one on China cuz well, duh. She gave the other students a week or so to do it but I only got two days! I can’t believe its a week later, still nada hahaha. Sometimes I just amaze myself!! =]
Okay so the week went by and finally on Friday I thought I could go up to NH to ski but no, I decided to stay home and finish all of the work assigned, ALL DUE MONDAY: 2 essays, 2 powerpoints on my China trip, an art project, 3 packets of geometry, and 5 packets of review and make-up work for biology. All due Monday. Aaaallll due MONDAY. Friggenfrig asd;foijdfv ;sdlifj. =[ (help?)
And by the way, today is Monday, and just guess how much of all that I have completed! I got the biology and geometry done at least… the rest wasn’t so lucky. Sunday afternoon and night I was becoming super sttressed out as you may imagine because on top of this impossible amount of work that I had laid out for me, this week is also MIDTERMS! Holyfreakingcrap I’m so scared!! Like I said I’m a freshman so these are new to me. They pretty much determine a huge portion of my grade so ya, I’m worried. And I’m not studying for them either I’ve decided because…… Okay I just don’t know anything anymore!
I don’t knowww. Je ne sais pas =[ No comprende! sheebaaaaaa! I’m such a wreck haha. I’ve never had to deal with this level of work OR stress before and it’s seriously getting to me. I thought it was amazing how I got like 3 new pimples in a day too, woah, the things stress does lol. Sunday night time came and talking to my friend, really just venting to her about how I cannot handle this, I started to cry! Freaking cryyyy. School is so evil haha.
So yeah =\ I didn’t hand in that English essay on The Pearl, or that extra credit history essay, orrr that stupid French brochure, or those powerpoints on my trip (but hey I’ve got 2000 pictures to choose from AND I’m very indecisive in general, thats a bad mix!). Oh but today after school.. though I stayed til 4… I finished my art project which is pretty dandy and I finished most of this Geometry test I missed. Oh jeez but I’ve still got an English test, quiz, vocab test, and unit questions to make up. Someday, sometime. I think I just may switch out of that honors English class into CP.
I can’t handle as much as I thought I could.
WOAH and really really sorry for writing so much. Have fun reading that I guess.
