home improvement help: I have a sunroom with sky windows. - Help.com

I have a sunroom with sky windows.

The windows do not leak, but the frame around the windows leak every time it rains. I have had others calk around the windows and I have calked around the windows. It seems to be water proof for a while and then it starts to leak again. The roof is metal -aluminum, I think. What do I dare clean the roof with and what can I do to solve the leak problem?

Have no Idea what environment your in so here goes. You will not be able to fix it yourself. You need to call a roofing company that is certified in rubber applications because that is what going to be needed to seal it. Have them put uncured around the entire window so that it is flashed to the roof. That is the only way to seal it because the metal will expand and contract to much for caulking to hold permanently. Hope this helps :-)
