I am so confused!
! I’ve been dating a guy I had classes with last semester. We have a connection but all the signals are just confusing to me! I feel like maybe there is so much we aren’t saying?? He projects himself to be a calm, cool, laid back independent type…but I’m starting to maybe pick up on the jealous, clingy side? He texts me a lot wanting to know what I’m doing and I think he is jealous of guys in my classes. He initiates everything…going out and such. When we first starting going out, I felt like he was moving quickly…going out to eat with family and such. I had a talk with him and he said he thought we were taking things slowly and just said he was having fun and that he likes me. Well, we hang out and get along great but now it feels like we are stalling ourselves from moving on to another level. Our outings together consist of a lot of teasing/joking around..sometimes pretty sarcastic stuff…it is kind of odd….do you think all that is a cover for more serious things we could be discussing? I think we both get butterflies every time we lock eyes for any length of time. I also have a fear of being too clingy or too distant and of getting hurt but I also really like him and want to make sure I do things the healthy, right way. I just am not sure where we stand, whats going on and how to read him? Any suggestions or advice? Feel free to ask any questions too! Thanks.
