Ahhh, stuff eh?
There’s bits in films where the protagonist is just about to get away from stuff, but goes back to get their bags or feed the dogs or some such nonsense, and they return to an empty platform. How odd? Because if they made it, and some do, and went on some form of adventure and proved some sort of point, well then what? Maybe there’s two of them, somewhere. One standing on an empty platform with some sudden realisation squeezing their chest into oblivion, and another, after days of romantic bohemian travel getting a little bored of looking out of train windows, conversing with strangers on trains and eating bread under the archways of shops. Who knows? Maybe it’d be easier to rewind to a previous moment and live from their… Or maybe we don’t actualy live outside what we imagine we could have done given a different situation. Maybe there’s a happier you, a cooler, more fufilled you, that took all the chances that you chickened out of or was too tied down to take, living every day in your imagination just for you? So here’s a second of thanks to that world of amazed and amazing folk
