college help: I was dismissed from community college for bad grades. - Help.com

I was dismissed from community college for bad grades.

i have to be in school in order to stay on my fathers health insurance. Every semester I have to fax the insurance company my class schedule so they’d know i was a full time student. Now that I no longer am a student, how long will it take for the insurance company to find out? In the meantime I’ve been trying to see if they’ll let me return to school so I can finally get a degree. Can anyone help me with this?

I think the only one who can help you here is you. You’re the one who is going to have to go back to school and try to stay disciplined enough to get grades at least good enough to stay in. School is not just a fun place to go is also a place where you have to keep your grades up so you can stay there. There are other people who are waiting to actually be able to go to school and at least make an effort to get good grades.

Sorry, you’re the only one who can do this. Nobody else can do it for you or even help you in this. Sorry, but that is how I feel.

what made you get dismissed in the first place? was it your fault *not studying, not coming to class, etc.,? or was it something else *partying, drugs, boyfriend, etc.,

try figuring out how you ended up here, and after that, how you can change yourself to do better once you get in.

They’ll usually find out pretty fast that you are no longer a student, if you have to send them something every semester.

Health insurance ?Is that enough motivation to go to school?
When are you guys going to have universal health care like Canada.

We still need health insurance even in Canada, health care doesn’t cover everything(IT should in a perfect world)

They generally take a semester or so, and now with the current economic crisis going on, I think they’re more busy covering their behinds then chasing after college students.

I don’t mean to sound condescending, but I didn’t think it was possible to get kicked out of community college due to grades?
