People dont build mountains. They are natural in origin and are a result of plate techtonic activity. (wikipedia it). Basically two plate crush together and push upwards, making a mountain.

Well, the ‘point’ is called the summit of the mountain, and a lot of mountains are in ranges; like there are a string of mountains next to one another. The Himalayas and Apls in Asia and Europe are two examples. So if *a* mountain has three points, maybe you are thinking of a mountain range with three large mountains.

Again, mountains are formed when two plates on Earth crush into each other and push upwards. The Earth’s crust (its surface is the top of the crust) is made up of these plates called techtonic plates. They float on the material that forms what is called the mantle of the Earth. The plates float about and bump into each other.

When they crush and push upward they make mountains, they can also crush together and push downward, and rub along each other which we feel as an earthquake.
