I much prefer obama over mccaine, but wtf are we going to do with all the monsters that are locked up in this place? places like this exist for a reason, I dont care how bad it seems, the people inside it are worse.

Well except for the occasional 13 year old boy who’d get mixed up in it all….
I suppose they’ll just be locked up normally instead of tortured.

They are contemplating what wil happen probably just be transferred

i dont know about 13 years olds, but I dont give a **** what age he is if he has been committing acts terrible enough to land him there. I highly doubt someone wakes up and decides to throw a random innocent person in that place.

“Oh well we gotta close guantanamo, so I guess we’ll just let the terrorist back on the streets”

Ah, you’re right, the boy wasn’t 13. He was….10. And found innocent after 2 years.

keep in mind a fair trial and everything we know, is for united states citizens only.

terrorists still have it easy in guantanamo, at least they dont get video taped while someone cuts their head off with a knife and then show it to the world.

it def sucks if innocents get thrown in there, but id say 99.999% of the people your trying to defend, spend every waking moment of their life trying to figure out how to kill you and your family.

I am not saying I like everything that our former president did, but unless you have somehow invented a time machine that you have used to speak to all the previous presidents and experience the effects of all the previous administrations you have absolutely no ground to make such a statement.

Pres Obama is closing Gitmo because of all the cruelty that’s gone on there. During his campaign, he stated he would and guess what…he’s keeping his word. What a concept, huh? As far as those detainees still imprisioned, I’m more than confident they’ll be extidited or released….depending on their crime.

Out of interest is he just shutting it down as a prison or is he actually closing down the whole base? because if he just shuts down the prison but keeps all the naval **** then hes still got an illegal base open in a sovereign nation. Because that lease should not apply since 1959
