aeolian mode, lots of things have gone wrong, however they can all be fixed but not from the man you expect to fix, a lot and I mean a lot of users were and are blaming Yourabi the sites current admin for these drastic problems however, it is safe to assume that it is not Yourabi but the users we have become so cynical and fearful of helping other people that we have stopped replying to posts, and stopped trying to help in general, once we realise that it is our fault, we can rekindle the relationship that we all have and rebuild this community.

Thepp, you are a good person with good intentions. I wish you all the best.

Please be aware that because all the Ning sites are linked, if you are friends with someone on one site you are friends with them on another ning site. This means if you select the ‘invite all friends’ option to a post/forum etc, it invites everyone from all the ning sites you have ever been associated with, even if you do not belong to that site anymore.

At first glance, it looks like people are trying to ‘poach’ members from each site, but that is not the case. Ning is one site, and your particular site is just like one ‘page’ of that site, they are all interlinked.

I guess people will have to get used to this ‘cross-inviting’. I have no problem with it, because like you, I think everyone should be free to belong to as many sites as they wish, including this one.

That’s right.

And true friendships are maintained via many different communication devices, whether it be help.com, social sites, MSN, Yahoo, phone and email.

Loyalties to a particular web site or group tends to create tension and siding, which is what seems to have happened unfortunately. Just from people’s well meaning attempts to fix problems, or provide an outlet that was obviously lacking here.

Thepp, this site has changed 360! But, not saying it still not a good site, but not the one we know. As you know, love your site…it is excellent. With all that being said, will continue to use both sites, but favor your site over this one. There are great people on both.

Bottomline, it is about helping a “few” people and enjoying your friends. Since, this site stopped giving notices to posts that are important, we must move on…

Will occasionally check in here, but enjoy your site much more.

It has been closed, and he made a new site with strict invite only.
