Holiday in Greece?

Hi everyone!

My bf and me want to go on a holiday in September, probably Greece. Anyone knows nice places to go? We were thinking of Rhodos maybe…we’d love to go on a holiday on an island :) anyway, anyone been there? which islands/hotels/… would you recommend?

we want a nice mix of culture/beach/snorkling/relaxing/adventure…

x

my brother and his wife had a great time in the greec cyprus, for its 5 star resorts that are cheaper than anywhere else, and than the turkish cyprus… idk about Rhodos, but cyprus always sounded kinda cool to me.. even though im more into the far east

lol ok but I’m just a student - budget of MAX 1200 euros… i know there’s a lot of sites, but most of those websites are made to attract tourists… they always chose the best pictures n stuff and don’t talk about cockroaches n stuff so… ;)

I’ve been to Rhodes, it was amazing. It ensures sunny and hot holiday, as there are 300 sunny days a year! It has some beautiful architectural monuments and a few other attractions. The Rhodes town is situated in a huge castle by the sea side and port, and there are ships going to Turkey from there, so u can visit 2 countries at once. Actually, u can see the Turkish coast from the Rhodes castle. My sister absolutely adored Lindos, which is on the island as well and also is a kind of castle with ruins of acient greek columns and buildings. I’ve been to the local Waterpark (in Faliraki), which is quite big and fun to go to, we had a great time there. umm, i liked the buzzzy bar street in Rhodes town, it’s great that all the bars are on the same street, half of them are under the open sky, and u can visit all of them on the way and party everywhere. The market is quite nice as well, there are plenty of souvenirs and other lovely things to buy. they advised to go to the butterfly valley as well, but i didnt have time for it. I cannot give advise on hotels though, as I stayed at my sister’s. overall it was a great holiday for sure. thax to the great weather as well! :)
