I haven’t been around a lot lately, but this evening my teenaged son asked if he could start an account here, and help answer questions. He’s registered as James Liger, but may change his screen name later.

Welcome James.
Your mum sounds great… She has the time to analyse and share advice in a great way… Other people tell u what to do, but she lays down the options, and opinions. I am sure you turned out as great lad with such support.
We all have our issues, but we can be good advisors when it comes to others, and the worst when it comes to our personal problems… So I hope I can be of help in the future, but I hope more that you will be happy.

Then don’t let this other girl get in the way. Just don’t let her. Take care of yourself, take care of your baby, and keep him busy with you. Ignore her at every turn, and eventually she’ll wander off.

Yes. Ignore her. But tell him that you find her treatment of you disrespectful and downright evil. Tell him that you don’t appreciate his allowing her to get by with it, and that you just aren’t going to put up with her. If it continues, leave him. There are men who will be happy to spend their lives with you without a ‘friend’ that treats you badly.
