guacamole just wouldn’t be right without the salt, Maxmsf1. Salt enhances the flavor of the avocado.

Nice Erik! For those of you who want to add just a bit more pizzazz to Erik’s perfect guac–what has worked for me is adding some finely chopped white onions and cilantro to the mix. And if the green is too dull for you, throw in some chopped ripe Roma tomatoes that has been cored.

And if you’ve got some time before you serve this, take the pits/skins and layer it over the top so that your perfect guac doesn’t become brown yuck.

I like the addition of fine diced yellow pepper and heirloom tomatoes. not only does it taste good, it looks pretty
