what makes us evolve, preditors, natural selection,

the will to live all of these are thinigs to think about but when it really all boiles down what causes evolution. How does it happen, when, where, why, how evolution by definitionis ” change in the inherited traits of a population of organisems from one generation to the next but i think what i am really asking here is does anyone else belive that ordinary ppl can do extra ordinary things IE levitation, reading thoughts, rapid regeneration, things like this or are all of my thoughts just BS

weve gotta be here for a reason! we just gotta work it out!! to evolve spiritually. i personally think we need to find a way of living in peace and harmony, without sounding like a total cliche! not sure about the supernatural though. but i do believe one day there will be… utopia.

Basicly evolution works like this:
There is random mutation in for instance birth genetics. (normal mutations occur daily in our bodies, but these tend to be rejected by the body. Think of cancer, which is also just a mutation)

Then due to a proces of ‘natural’ selections these gens either spread or don’t.

This proces can be random, for instance a predator that hunt faster or more succesfull (or is simply stronger) and thus produces more off-spring. Or something else that produces him more off-spring. (and thus an increase in the presence in the species of this mutation.)

Or becasue of survival. One genetic threat being more beneficial then the other. In example elefants without tusks (born without them) Once only one percent of elefants were born without tusks. Through the simple fact that these didn’t get shot by poachers for Ivory (they have none) now 30 percent of African elefants are born without tusks. Showing a major change is species, in a time of just 70 years.

Imagining life has been evolving through mutations in the last say, hm 2 billion years? Life as it evolves to this day is a very common threat witnessed even within human life spans.
