I don’t know for sure but I believe that cricket puts you behind a nat router already. This means you can’t get any open ports because your machine isn’t out on the internet, it’s on cricket’s private network which is in turn connected to the net. One way you could check for sure is to look at the ip address your adapter is giving you. If it happens to be in one of the private or bogon address ranges (10.x.x.x, 192.x.x.x etc) then you are behind a router. –creig
