i was getting warnings about my battery on my 6400, I left it unplugged one night and it went dark.

Tried to charge but no light, ordered new battery, still won’t charge.
dell help said it could be motherboard?

Check your AC Adaptor? I have the same laptop, its great, all i’ve done is replaced the battery twice in two years =p

Yeah mine fried in the first 6 months and Dell replaced it and it worked
