why do cnet bring in developers who obviously know nothing about user

moderation and user management to take charge of a site like help.com and the
problems it has…

Looking at this site is good proof that developers do not make good moderators or administrators.

No one has also been exclusively assigned to this site since Jeff. Everyone since then have had other responsibility to deal with. The problems with the user management and moderation are a mix of lack of manpower and a lack of development. In CNET’s eyes, that covers both. Also remember that Help.com no longer has any developers. Also remember, Help.com is not an official CNET brand, thus we are the bottom of the totem pole. Gotta make the best of it.
