fear help: Night Terrors - Help.com

ok..my son used to have these&these can be horendous!

why do you ask?

kinda sums up a few months of mine…

In time i’ll get this out of

Out of my mind
Where am i?
I can’t see
I fear for my life
Fear of this fright

They haunt me
And they taunt me
Try to relax
Let it happen
My hopes turn to crystal matter
Watch them shimmer
As they shatter

Night terrors in my mind
Thoughts i cannot hide
Dreams that play on my cold fears
Night terrors in my head
Am i really dead?
I can’t tell, it feels so real

Remember what you once said?
Every passing fragile moment

I want to try to work it out

I dream of many things, and they change, which I think is healty.

How do I deal?
many a diary filled, meditation and long walks

my son used to have them from an early age,i swear to god ive never been so fearful for him!!!
i would put him to bed within the next hr i could here him moving around!
he would run down the stairs ,into the living room,eyes wide with fear!!!
he would scream,run back up the stairs!then up again!

this went on for months!i dreaded each bedtime!
the following day he didnt remember a thing!
as time went on he started remembering little titbits!
he was being eaten by rats!they were coming out of his mouth
he was covered in blood!
only the unimaginable happens with night terrors..
i took him drs,nothing can be done
i was in bits for my son because i couldnt wake him or help him!
he grew out of them thankgod!

thats heavy

I cant recall any I have but I know I have had them, I sleep with the tv on when I get scared of the dark.
