I’m currently deciding to get a pressure sensitive tablet for my computer. but i need a software to use with it. i want to draw and illustrate as well as shade and color my drawings.

should i use Open canvas or Photoshop?

and what type of tablet should i get?

Photoshop CS4 and some sort of Wacom Tablet.

I don’t know what kind of software you should use, but I’ve heard that bamboo tablets are nice. I have a small one, it’s not pressure sensitive or anything, but it works pretty well.
