I have not read or taken a class on a course in Miracles, but a lot of people in my church have read it and taken classes on it. I always here that it has good effects in their lives.

Does it claim to be written by Jesus? I had not heard that. But my view would be that is person writing it is saying that God is working through them to express the writings in the book.

the belief is that it was written by Jesus Christ and Helen Shucmen was the scrib. I am not sure if I would go that far, but I do know that technically, the author is a spirit of jesus or something Divine. the is no human author.
