How can I draw sketches within an email?

I use MSN Live Hotmail and would like to be able to put simple drawings or sketches within the body of an email to illustrate a point. I have tried using Paint to create an image, then Attach to include it, but it does not appear within the email itself. I also tried to save the sketch to the clipboard from within Paint and then paste it to the email without success. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks,
Dicktho

Download Windows Live Instant Messaging and in it install windows live mail, once installed open windows live mail, draw the image you want in the e-mail in paint and click on add photo’s this will bring it up.

Thanks, Luck of the Irish,
I’m not into the whole instant messaging thing, so will continue to look for other options.
Thanks for your time, though

What i did to show my mom my new layout for my house was to simply draw it on paper, scan it into the comuter save as file in word and attach it to the email.

Hi Lindaxfische,

Yes, I thought about that, as well. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of steps and time, and still results in an attachment, not in a drawing that is imbedded within the text of the email itself.

What I really want is the equivalent of writing a letter by hand, where I can change from writing script to drawing and back to writing again on the same piece of paper, so the illustration is right there to be seen without having to do other things in order to see it. Doing the attachment thing takes me extra steps and time, and also takes the recipient of the email extra steps and time to download the attachment and view it separately from the email itself.

Thank you for taking the trouble to suggest a solution, though,

Dicktho

My own Google was something like “drawing in emails,” which came up with hundreds of hits, mostly on how to draw. I changed it to “sketching in emails,” and got about the same stuff. None of it was helpful in what I want to do, however.
Thanks,
Dicktho
