im customizing my desktop, and i want to resize my

desktop icons to different sizes, which i know can be done because my friends computer has it, but she doesnt know how. im running vista home basic if that helps.

just right click it and click on properties there should be an option to change the size.

Yep.
You can increase your resolution to the highest if you right click, -> properties -> Display Settings -> (adjust Resolution) -> Apply.

I don’t think that is what he want’s I think he wants one icon to be small and another large another medium etc. if this is incorrect perception then do as dunbara has said.
