Twilight.
I am sick of writing depressing posts about how I need help and there must be somthing wrong with me, So i am writing one about a good thing…my current obsession.
Thats right, its the same as billions of others out there
Twilight.
So talk, ask questions, rant, discuss, I would love to hear your opinions…
And one more thing….did anyone else notice that Stephanie Meyer is actually in the movie? Or was it just me? or was I seeing thngs?
anyways,
have fun, cant wait to hear your input!
just. keep it clean and friendly please?

I have 2 of the books here and I have’nt been able to get into reading them….I’m told I would like the movie. I don’t like theaters…Is it out on dvd yet? What is it about this movie that seems to make everyone like it? I mean I don’t even know what its about other than it’s vampire themed. What’s the plot? Everytime I start the first book I can never get through a paragraph. I’ll never make it through the series…. what do you like about it?
elliott smith has a song called twilight… its one of my favourites

never heard, will check it out. ty
Lol my gf forced me into reading it. And I liked it… I can’t say i’m obssessed but it was good. Then I was more or less forced into reading Host. And its 10 times better. It’s still Stephanie Meyer just with more of a plot
Twilight was my guilty pleasure for a while, until I got to the 4th book, then all the pleasure was lost; Terrible ending.
Twilight is about a girl who falls in love with a vampire, thereby putting herself in danger from the mythical world she has been introduced to…it is really good.

It took me until she actually met Edward for me to become totally obssessed…im not saying you will like it, but it gets better after the first few pages.
Personally, I loved the rawness of it…It is so personal and pure, and yet still exciting. she wrote it for herself and you can tell that when you read it. I guess its different for everyone though. Also, Edward is just so easy to fall for. The way its written really drives you into it.
The movie is great. My friend watched it before she read the book and she said she thinks it was better that way…the movie made her want to read them.

Really? I didnt mind the ending…I was slightly disappointed with the fourth book, but i still loved it…each to their own i suppose.

I really want to read that, I think its got a great plot line from what i can get from the summary.
when i read the books i was really really obsessed with them and read them all in very quick succession and then i thought that the film was good too, but did you find that when youre not actively reading or watching them that you rapidly fall out love with them? like theyre actually not that absorbing really..

i have to agree that some stuff in the fourth drove me insane and at the major change in the middle i stopped reading for a while i was so annoyed with it..
and i agree its the edward character that drives the books, bella is just so irritating at times, thats why i really really like her preview of midnight sun, the book from edwards point of view, its refreshing not to be in bellas head.
also where is stephanie meyer in the film?
:)

I cant say I did, i fell in love with them from day dot. I was always obsessed with them. however, i have an obsessive mind, so that may have something to do with it.

Im not sure if it really is her, but the second time Bella and Charlie are in the diner, i think she is the customer in the very start of the panning shot.
