mabye he’s (no offense ) emo.. or more likley it was some sort of accident and he doesn’t wanna show that he was clumsy or somthing.

If i was you I wouldnt push him into trying to tell you what happend. I would however watch him like a hawk. And if things like this keep happening then he could possibly be a “cutter”. I have a close friend who went through this. If this is the case he might need some professional help. Also how old is your brother? If he is really young maybe he is getting messed with at school and doesnt want anyone to think he is being bullied. Or maybe if he is around 18 or 19ish he might be experimenting with alcohol. I know I did at that age and got all kinds of bumps and brusies that I didnt want to have to explain because I didnt want my older siblings or parents to know I had been drinking. Or it could be something as simple as that he is kinda clumsy and doesnt want you to think so. hope that any of this helps and doesnt freak you out or anything.

Well differnt people deal with things in differnt ways. It could be that the stress of school or whatever may be going on in his life right now is depressing him and fustrating him and he doesnt want anyone to know for fear of seeming weak. My friend that had the problem with cutting didnt cut on his arms because he didnt want anyone to see what he had done. More than likely people who cut on their wrist are somewhat suisidal. But for people who just cut its more about self mutalation. Possibly because the are fustrated and dont know how to deal with it. Or are angry with themselves. Also if you notice that he is flaunting these wounds then its more than likely for attention. If he is hiding them he might have a problem. If you notice more cuts on him you should talk to him about it and try to relate and make him feel comfortable. When people ask him about it he may feel like they are trying to accuse him or attck him. So I would try to make him feel as comfortable as possible to get some info out of him.
