School help?

So I have been thinking about this… I don’t know whether I should take a semester off from school.
I am thinking maybe I could just to have a little time away.. figure life out. Things like that. But I don’t know if I leave, if I’d honestly come back to school. Has anyone ever taken a semester off? Was it hard to go back? Was it a good idea? Any insight to this would help…

I just took my first semester off this December.

It’s only been two months, but so far I’m enjoying it. At first it was a little bit of a shock. I felt like I had failed by leaving school. I gave up my scholarship. I didn’t know what I was going to do with my life. I wanted to go back but it was too late.

I did however get an associates degree before leaving, so that gave me some comfort. I have more money since I work full time now and I’m pursing a career. I have a lot more free time and its nice, but I do get bored sometimes.

I do want to go back to school and get my bachelors, but I honestly don’t know when that will be. I told myself a year at first, but now it’s looking more like 2 or 3 years. Everyone has told me that once you leave you dont want to go back, and I believe them.

Part of me wishes that I would have stayed in school, but I am enjoying the freedom. I don’t know if it was a good decison yet, but so far, I think it was.

i took a semester off sometime ago. it was fun i enjoyed it but after a while i got bored missed my friend. i am now back in school and some times i wish i didnt leave because all my friends have graduated and gone i fell left out. it was not hard for me to return but i wish i nener had to leave.
