You mean online you pretend to be someone you are not?
I would think that is a little weird yes, you would be fake but then if your life is something you are not hapy with then I can see that doing something like that would be something of an escape to you.
It is however wrong if it can hurt other people, if you lie in order to gain from others.

If your intention is to deceive and cheat people, then yes.

I know it’s not a big deal, but I changed “idenity” to be spelled right because if it is a concern of yours you’ll get better information from the world in the long run if you use the right word.

Online and offline, it is normal to take on different roles and identities. So it’s not weird in itself. It could be done weirdly though, so if it feels weird that might be because how a person is wearing their identity is weird somehow.

I don’t think it’s weird to act differently on line than the way you would off line. It is, however, problematic to the continuity of your over-all person. If you are living out a whole different life, on-line then, in essence, you’re living in the Matrix. Uhhh. . . Check Off (the Internet), Check Out (of the house) and Check In (to rehab). . . Really. You need to understand the statistical data of peole who delved into Dungeons and Dragons in the genesis of it’s time. They’re not all there, man.
