what is the differance between cumulative GPA and current GPA on report cards?

my cumulative 3.094

current GPA 3.500

I would assume that the cumulative GPA is the mean of all of your GPAs.

We don’t have GPA here though, so I couldn’t be certain.

Cumulative means “all together,” therefore it is the average of all of your past grades since the first semester of your freshmen year. Current means the gpa that you have at the time.

My school runs on a trimester system, I would think that cumulative would be all of the trimesters every year and current is just the GPA of your current grades

in some schools the cumulative GPA begins at freshmen year. It would be your grades for every class since freshmen year of school. The other GPA considers only the grades from that school year or semester. again different school do it differently.

cumulative means all the years and the second one is what you have just for this year.
